PEACE IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS

Lord, I thank you Lord and I am so happy and thankful to be here at the beach sitting here with you. 

You are calling me to be still and just be in your presence.  As I sit here in the sand taking deep breaths and just being… I feel connected with you.  It feels so good for me to sit here and be still and have you sitting next to me.  As you Holy Spirit quiet my soul.  I feel blessed to be here in your presence and in your peace.  I am thankful that in the midst of this chaotic week I can find rest in you!

As I sit here quieting myself and looking at your beautiful creation…
I am enjoying, hearing the sound of the crashing waves.
I enjoy seeing the sun sparkling on the water… looks like twinkling diamonds.
As I take deep breaths I smell the ocean air.
I feel the gentle warm breeze blowing my hair.
I feel the warm sun on my face.
I have a smile on my face of contentment.
I feel your peace and sense your presence.
My favorite part is having you sitting here next to me.

I feel so grateful to be sitting here with you and to know I am not alone, you are with me! Jesus, is there anything you would like to say to me about where I am at this time? Jesus, I enjoy sitting here with you and being with you enjoying my creation and all the beauty around.  I understand how hard it has been and how you have been feeling overwhelmed in the midst of the chaos and uncertainties of what is going on with your family.  It is good for you to come be still in my presence and to quiet yourself.  I am with you and I will help you.  I will be the wind beneath your wings. I will strengthen you and help you soar like the seagull that is soaring over us.

Jesus Thank You for being with me and encouraging me as I navigate all that is going on with my family.  Thank You for this beautiful day at the beach that we get to share together.  Thank You for the Joy I feel right now in your presence and for the Peace I feel upon me.
